angry. he'll never admit it, but he has a deep grudge against his parents for him having to come here for school - which he graduated from early, and work, which he does enjoy though. christian tends to hate a lot of things, unless he finds something interesting about it, the reason he toys with people a lot, as well as cars.
calculating. oh, he's not as dumb as he acts to be sometimes, especially if he's at a party. christian enjoys being able to figure out people's motives by their words, and will "go along with it" just to see what will happen. he tends to figure things out a lot faster than people give him credit for - but only in social situations, not like his cousin, sam who is more book-smart.
intelligent. much like his parents, he's also intelligent, though sometimes lacks in the common sense area of his brain. he's quick with a comeback sometimes, though since he's turned 22, christian's beginning to see life in a slightly different way.
adaptable. christian moved here to stay with his cousin, sam for awhile, till he moved out, due to wanting to get his own place, which he did and absolutely loves it. his personality does tend to change, whether he's at work and he's more precise and perfect, rather than when he's at a party for example, and he's much more - fluid and such - outgoing with people.
loyal. despite his darker side, christian is deadly loyal to his family, hence why that's one of his problems. he adores his parents, as well as his younger sister, his baby sister, natalia, who is just about to turn 16 this upcoming year - which he plans to go back to france in order to see her for her sweet 16, since she was only 8 when he turned 16. once christian becomes your friend, if you're in a tight spot, he's more than happy to come help you out till the end.
confident. oh yes, he's quite confident with himself with everything that he does. enough said. he can get an ego, but he likes it when people will poke his big head and bring him back down to earth.
stubborn. once he gets set on something, be ready for a good, long and hard debate if you want to try and change his mind. christian likes facts, hence why he adores math and science so much.
romantic. he is from france, after all, and speaks fluent french. ahem. once his eyes are set on a girl, he likes to pursue her, though won't be completely obnoxious about it. once he has a girlfriend, he's absolutely loyal to her and makes his plans for the day all around hers, if she wanted to hang out. he's the type of guy who will get her flowers randomly, though he will seek some relationship advice from sam, especially if he really likes the girl too - that he'd never admit, but just ask for help.

infant years. (newborn - 2). Christian was born to Kali and Gabriel Ballard in Saumur, France in 1989. They were in their late twenties, and had their lives established, and finally decided on having a child. Christian was given his father's first name as his middle name, in order to put a little bit of sentimentality into his name. Nevertheless, his father was a political guru there in Saumur, and frequently went to Paris with his job. His mother worked as a dentist, though she was moderately strict what her toddler and child had, she still didn't completely control her son. As an infant he was doted on, and was introduced to his aunt and uncle in France while they had been visiting, that aunt, on his mother's side soon falling pregnant with Christian's soon-to-be-here cousin, Samuel. Christian was a healthy baby though, therefore his parents didn't worry about him - much.
toddler years. (3-6). Being raised on both French and English wasn't that easy for him, so his parents resorted to just French till he got older. Instilling a heavy French accent (which he still mostly has today), as well as a love for the language and Italian as well - another romantic language. With him being raised on mostly French and some English, he's still learning some bigger words even today. This was when Christian first met Samuel, his cousin who was about a year younger than him. Sam and Christian became fast friends, and are still good friends to this present day.
child years. (7-12). His parents then told him, when he was just 7, he was to have a baby sister - this was when he noticed just how big Kali, his mother was getting. Excited and nervous at the same time, he asked about the attention he got from them. Granted Christian adored the attention, but would his sister take it all? His parents promised him that it wouldn't, but the child still had his doubts. Nevertheless, his baby sister Natalia was brought into the world in Saumur, France as well. This time they raised her solely on French, deciding to teach her English later in life, much like with Christian. He was 11 when he first discovered girls fully, and started hanging out with the neighbor girl named Aleta. They became good friends till Aleta moved to Florida in the States, and they stayed in contact through phones, computers, etc.
teen years. (13-18). His life was pretty normal. He lived with his parents and took care of his baby sister a lot, since his mother and father worked a lot, supporting their family more than they needed to, but that was just because they wanted their children to have what they didn't. Everything they could possibly want. This was when Christian got introduced to the party scene - when he was 17 and Natalia 11, he got her a baby-sitter one Friday night, and went to a party, not returning till 4 a.m the next morning, with her sleeping and his parents home, his father waiting up. Oops. With his father deciding on a punishment, Christian then stated he wanted to leave in a fit of rage. The two went at it, and that's when Gabriel decided that they should probably move. Within a few months, they had sold their nice house and moved to Paris, where Natalia could attend a private school, along with Christian till he graduated. He got into the university here, and therefore when he graduated, he came here with his family to explore. Thank goodness he knew English.
present. Christian graduated early, due to taking summer courses and practically living and breathing school for the past three years of his life. He has a degree in Mathematics, and a teaching certificate. Guess what he's doing now? He's currently working with a teacher at the high school, and will probably start teaching next year, if he doesn't decide to become a consultant for various marketing companies, and right now works a lot on the weekends as a mechanic, to keep his hands busy.
