PERSONALITY | marin, marin, marin. once a good little girl, raised by a loving family. once upon a time, she had been well to do, and polite. she'd once been a ten year old girl that liked to wear dress with flowers - a girl that had never once dreamed of telling untruths, or getting drunk... too bad thats all she does now.

from the very beginning, marin has had what people would call an addictive personality - addictive in every sense of the word possible. for herself, once she had been given a task to do, there was absolutely no stopping her. when she first glances at the front cover a coloring book of the disney princesses, she grabs her crayons and bam, there she goes. when confronted with her algebra homework, it is done within a matter of minutes. telling her parents one lie about the party going on later tonight is enough to set off a mountain of other lies. one stolen bottle of absolut vodka off the shelf for this one party, leads to many stolen bottles of vodka - and many other stolen items. one shot of this said vodka, and she becomes a raging alcoholic. pleasure her once, and then she is in the middle of an orgy. there is no such thing as one time with marin. give her a slight push, and she is off.

addictive - not only does she get addicted to things extremely easily, but people get addicted to her extremely easily. despite her problems with theft, liquor, lying, and sex, marin is a very outgoing, genuine person. marin wasn't raised to be rude, or evil, or manipulative... in all honesty, she is a very optimistic, cheerful girl. she loves to make people laugh, and loves to spread happiness around to everyone she can get a hold of. she is friends with anyone that is willing to be friends, and anyone not willing. once someone is friends with marin, its hard to stay away. no, not everyone finds her dry humor and loud laugh endearing, but those that do can't seem to get enough. that being said, once you've got marin on your side, you don't have to worry about her lying (she lies only to her parents), or cheating, or backstabbing. she is extremely loyal, and if you find yourself in need of help, she'll give it, no questions asked.

marin's early childhood was hardly eventful. it was only her and her parents living in small, two bedroom apartment. though they were poor, they had the bare essentials (food, clothes, and tons of books), and they were extremely happy. marin was raised to be respectful, and kind, and generous, and smart. she was the perfect daughter receiving top marks on everything at school, being obedient to them, up until her junior year, when she was 16.

this year was the year she told her first lie to her parents. 'yeah, i'm going to study session sleep over. i'll be back tomorrow.' translation: i'm going to go to a party with boy and booze and weed. everything else she ever said to them were all practically lies. that very same night, she managed to swipe a bottle of vodka of the fridge self at the local market. the thrill of it was so enticing, she has made it a habit to steals packs of gum, lighters, and beers whenever it was necessary. a few parties later, she actually warmed up to the idea of drinking alcohol. she was buzzed and trashed within a few hours. since then, there has hardly been a sober weekend for her. after the next few parties, she warmed up to another idea: sex. sure, she was drunk when she lost her virginity, but it had been oh so good. she can't ever have enough sex - sex, sex, sex. its a miracle that she isn't pregnant.

from that year on, her relationship with her family and former friends went down the drain; they could hardly believe the path marin was going down. she constantly argued with her parents, so when she finally turned eighteen, she got a job as a waitress at the dirty shame, and bought her own one bedroom apartment to live in. she lives there now, though with all the money she is making from tips and waiting tables, she could be in the middle class part of town, where she grew up in.
